Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation
CHRISTUS
St. Frances Cabrini Hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Rehab department
works with patients who have cardiac or respiratory disease. Upon
the order of the physician, our cardiopulmonary staff works with patients
throughout their in-patient stay.(i.e., before cardiac surgery).
After discharge from the hospital, we develop individualized exercise programs tailored to meet your personal needs. Education is a major part of the program. We teach nutrition, heart disease, stress management, smoking cesation, risk factors, CPR and pharmacology.
