Cardiovascular services
The
Cardiovascular program at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital
integrates a complete range of diagnostic and treatment services.
Diagnostic testing begins in the non-invasive cardiology department
using state of the art echo equipment and stress testing facilities.
When further testing and cardiac intervention are required, patients
utilize our “high-tech, high-touch” cath lab facilities.
Our three cath labs and our electrophysiology lab are staffed
by expert physicians and experienced staff who provide optimum
personalized treatment.
Should cardiac surgery be indicated, we provide specialized surgical
capabilities, ICU staff with advanced training, and an innovative
all-RN unit dedicated to the care of post-op cardiac patients. Individualized
case management smooths the path of the patient through the system.
An outstanding cardiac rehab department rounds out the program
and provides the link between the patient’s acute care needs and
continued wellness. For those patients with a diagnosis of Congestive
Heart Failure, we have the area’s only out-patient clinic
offering infusion therapy, and emphasizing education and self-management
techniques.
