Electrophysiology lab
CHRISTUS
St. Frances Cabrini Hospital’s electrophysiology lab acts to
assess and intervene on patient’s “electrical system of
the heart.”
Some of the procedures that are done in the lab include electrophysiology (EP) studies, radiofrequency ablation, permanent pacemakers, cardioverter defibrillators and the latest development in pacemaker technology, congestive heart failure (CHF) targeting ventricular resynchronization.
